After a much-needed hiatus - during which both the band and their falling cult leader faced a colossal array of trials, tragedies, and tribulations - the first band that is also a religion is back. Unlike previous PLC releases, “Signals of Virtue” does not bear the title of a 'concept album', but rather a collection of fragments exploring themes closely related to the grieving process.

“Signals of Virtue” features the reunion of the Pope and the High Priest Jack Gibson, along with his musical bride Finn the Bird (both of whom are known from Lansing-based folk duo Trailer Cats).
Other new additions include lyrics from the philosopher and poet Jesthro Phelps (spirit guide), as well as contributions from producer KAVIKA and singer/songwriter Emily Jo West.

A statement from the elusive founder, Mr. Pope:
"We are you. We remain here though some of our bodies have left us, perhaps our existence lies beyond the net mankind tends to become caught in. This was a difficult album to live in, a very hard one to make. For you this may be just another record, but for us...well, just try and sell me the dream."
